Welcome

Wagyu, the Kyoto way.

Kyo-Yakiniku Kyonosuke is an adults' hideaway in Dogenzaka, Shibuya. The owner personally selects each cut at the market — mainly Wagyu — and serves signatures like sagari and premium salted tongue in the Kyoto manner: rinsed in dashi, paired with grated yam.

Our dashi is Kyoto-style yet original — finished with garlic and leek. Enjoy the signature Kyonosuke loin and Kyonosuke-yaki with this dashi and grated yam. Private rooms are available for business dinners and celebrations.

Can I book on the same day?

Yes, if seats are available. Calling us is the quickest way to check.

Dip the grilled meat briefly in warm dashi to wash off excess fat. Our dashi is Kyoto-style yet original, finished with garlic and leek. Add tororo (grated yam) for an even lighter taste — our staff will guide you.
